Very poorly little girl - lost Gund Alfie bear HELP?

Hi, I came across your forum in my desperate search to find a replacement bear for my little girl. We have recently returned from a special trip for my very poorly daughter. We left her two very precious much loved (since birth) bears in the hotel room for safe keeping and unfortunately they were accidentally taken with bedding and sent to the hotel laundry company. They have not been able to locate them. My daughter is obviously distraught, she has never slept a night without them. The bears in question are a Gund Goober, which I can easily replace, but the other is a small size Gund Alfie, which was her favourite and sadly was discontinued last year. I have checked with the retailers who took all remaining stock and as expected, none remain. Gund have none at all left and cannot help further. Gund still make a larger Alfie at around 18", ours was approx 12". Obviously in an ideal world, her own two bears would be found and returned, but I'm pretty certain this won't happen now, so I would like to try and replace them.

If anyone knows where I may get a discontinued small size Gund Alfie, or can help in any way with suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Many many thanks (fingers crossed), Louise
